Winter’s finally over. Spring madness is in the air. Yet again a high ranking official of the USA is in Israel, proclaiming another ‘moment of real opportunity’ for Jews and Palestinians to kiss and make up, forget their differences, and live together as brothers and sisters for ever and ever, amen.

Do these idiots truly believe they deserve our respect?

US Vice President Joe Biden has been cosying up to Netanyahu and company since Monday. America’s carnal lust for Israel was reaffirmed stoutly, making absolutely clear that the Obama policy towards Israel’s occupation of Arab lands is not one jot different from his predecessors.^[1]

In response to these US utterances of affection, Israel announced its intention to build another sixteen hundred houses in East Jerusalem, further blocking any hope of a Palestinian capital city, while gently beckoning them to ‘come to the table and talk’.

There is no hope of meaningful dialogue, and all parties know it. Israel has cleverly divided its enemy into two camps: the democratically elected Hamas in Gaza; Mahmoud Abbas’s Palestinian Authority in Ramallah.

Until these two factions can be reconciled, no ‘meaningful talks’ can ever take place.

After two days of sumptuous Israeli hospitality, Biden will begrudgingly spare a few hours with Palestinian leaders on Wednesday, before heading off to more luxury and soft living as a guest of King Abdullah of Jordan.

Don’t wear yourself out, Mister Vice President.

Meanwhile, in a very ordinary little house in the southern part of Wales in the UK, Jesus Christ appeared to the Allen family of Ystrad, Rhondda – in the lid of a Marmite jar.^[2]

The Iraqi press has been proclaiming it for years. Independent journalists have shouted it from the rooftops. The Western press has barely mentioned it, while the American media has been prominent amongst the silent.

Today, however, the BBC in the guise of its World Editor, John Simpson, has blown the top off a story that should have been making headlines, and creating fury, for the last six years.

The place is Fallujah, Iraq. The building is a brand new hospital, Fallujah General, built with American money. It’s what’s in the hospital that’s so disturbing. Some sights were so ghastly John Simpson had to tell his cameraman not to film them.

Paediatric specialist, Dr Samira al-Ani, told the BBC she saw two or three cases of serious birth defects every day at the hospital. Simpson was shown photographs of a baby with three heads. He saw children with six fingers on each hand, and six toes on each foot.

Women living in and around Fallujah have been advised by their doctors not to have children.

The BBC shows one image in its report.^[1] Sparrow Chat has decided not to reproduce it, or the myriad other images of grossly deformed Iraqi children available on the internet. They are, frankly, too appalling.

For those with strong stomachs, google ‘iraq birth defects’ and click on the ‘images’ tab. The choice is vast.

The Iraqi government refuses to investigate the causes of this catastrophic situation. They don’t wish to embarrass their American benefactors. Fallujah is still a dangerous place to visit and many politicians aren’t welcome there.

The cause is obvious, without any inquiry. In 2004, the United States dropped thousands of tons of depleted uranium bombs on and around Fallujah. Iraqis will be suffering the consequences for generations to come.

Read John Simpson’s report available via the link below. Then, pause for a moment and wonder why those who caused these vile occurrences – George W Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Tony Blair – are not languishing behind bars for the immeasurable suffering they have caused in our name.

And when, over Fallujah, the shit finally does hit the fan – expect a total political whitewash.

A few days ago I wrote of a problem bothering the Israeli government, viz: the Gentile population of Israel and its surrounding neighbors was swelling, rapidly gaining ground over the Jewish populace.^[1]

In an effort to combat that worrying prospect, the Israelis were marketing their nation to young Jewish people around the world, in an attempt to attract more settlers to the country.

Speaking at the 2010 Herzliya Conference in Israel recently, Martin Kramer^[2], a research fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University, suggested a different approach. He called for the West to stop all aid to Palestinian refugees in Gaza as a further step towards preventing them from breeding.

Starving human beings can’t produce lots of offspring.

I jest not:

The Third Reich had a name for this; they called it eugenics. Only, they aimed to weed out of the gene pool ‘the criminal, degenerate, dissident, feeble-minded, homosexual, idle, insane, and weak’.

Kramer’s notion is to curtail the production of young Palestinian males of the age group most likely to join Hamas and other militant, anti-Israel, political organizations.

What’s so alarming about this man’s point of view is not just that he’s lost his ability to view others in the world as human beings like himself. It’s that he’s a high-ranking academic, a research fellow at one of the most prestigious universities on earth. His views are part of a larger contagion that regards the Palestinian people as a sub-species; a doctrine that has remorselessly established itself within the Israeli government since the days of Ben-Gurion.

I ended the previous post with the suggestion that Israel was rapidly becoming the new ‘Third Reich’ of the Middle East. Martin Kramer gives me no reason to doubt the validity of that statement.
