200 Jacinda Arderns Could Replace All The World Leaders

Take a moment to listen to Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand’s Prime Minister who, unlike every other national leader at Easter, didn’t forget the little children who are also suffering from coronavirus lockdown.

How about if scientists everywhere got together and worked on how to create a couple of hundred clones of Jacinda to replace all the shitehawks presently occupying top national positions of power in the world.

I believe she could transform the planet for all of us.

Five million people live in New Zealand. So far, there have been sixteen deaths from Covid-19 and the figures are dropping.

My thanks to Jo at ‘Withdraw Myself’ for the video.

  1. Nice one! Yes, please, one clone ordered for the USA.
    someone sent me this:

Covid’s Little Challenges: Teachers urge government to reopen schools before students learn to think for themselves. 🙂

  2. We are very proud of Jacinda at the moment – she has shown compassion alongside decisive leadership at a time when other leaders seemed to be prevaricating. Mind you, she had to also contend with the terror attack just over a year ago, and then a volcanic explosion. Whilst caring for a baby… (and she is less than a year older than me, which makes me feel just a little bit of an underachiever…)

What we now have to watch out for is all the people who say that we went ‘too hard’ and sacrificed too many jobs for the now 20 people who have died. All I have to do is look at the rates in Europe and the US to see the “what if” 🙁

  3. Blow – I did post a comment, and I think that the system ate it 🙁
Yes, we are very proud of Jacinda, who has shown empathy alongside decisive leadership. But then, she has also had to contend with a terrorist attack and a volcanic eruption. Whilst caring for a baby. As she not even a year older than me, I do get a little bit of an ‘under achievement’ complex. (and then feel a bit better when I think of the Tom Lehrer quote “When Mozart was my age, he’d been dead for two years.”)

  4. Jo ~ as reward for your struggles to have your comment on Sparrow Chat you now have two! Yes, she is incredible, and I admire her immensely, though I have to say given the competition (in the form of Trump, Johnson, etc.) she has little to live up to. Even so, we really do need caring people in charge at the top and we don’t have any anywhere in the world, that I can think of, except Jacinda Arden. I just hope New Zealanders’ appreciate her and keep her in power for a long, long, time.
