I enjoyed this. I agree that it's our need for something akin to parental comfort that allows so many to accept what is dished out in the name of religion. On the dishing out side, the incentive has to be people control... and money, money money. One huge scam. Man does need (still) some guidance on how to live and interact, and from time to time through the centuries, wonderful individuals have appeared among us, people with great insight and compassion to give us such guidance.....and what do we do with'em?
