I learned (for my citizenship civics/history test) that the Supreme Court's job is to explain and interpret laws. If they had done their job with regard to the 2nd Amendment I feel sure they'd have come to the same decision as you did - any logical, clear-minded, analytical mind would have to do so. The Judges are now just another of the President's tools. I don't understand why the President is the one to have the last word in appointing the 9 Judges. It would seem much fairer for them to be chosen by a wide cross-section of their peers.
